We were appointed to design an extension and refurbishment of a commercial and residential building on a busy thoroughfare in West London. Our client wanted to retain retail space, maximize living accommodation and create a new house alongside, in a style that referenced both the existing building and the surrounding area.

Our design focused on a brick extension that adopted the detailing and window proportions of surrounding properties, giving the building a distinct yet sympathetic style. The extended area also provided improved lift access to the upper floors of the building and additional outdoor space.
